近年来，随着国内汽车发动机性能的不断提升，市场迫切需求高精度的凸轮轴磨削加工设备。针对市场需求，湖南宇环同心数控机床有限公司和湖南大学电气与信息工程学院戴喻兴教授科研团队一起携手进行科技攻关和技术研发，终于研制出YTMCNC8336-16数控高速凸轮轴磨床。
该设备主要用于机械工业、汽车、摩托车、航空航天、船舶、内燃机等行业。去年10月至今，已有两台设备该项目产品分别投入企业试用，得到用户的高度评价。用户认为，该产品的加工精度和效率比原有指标大幅度提升，是国内目前Z先进的用来磨削凸轮轴凸轮轮廓的高档数控机床。（湖南大学）
